Brain Port Tower
Mixed-use public space in Eindhoven integrates public and private realms to enhance connectivity.
Key challenge
The project addressed the need for a central hub in a region characterized by diverse user groups, spatial interaction, and infrastructural density. It required a design that could facilitate collaboration while responding to the existing urban fabric.
Concept
The form of the building emerges as a response to its context, creating a loop that integrates with the surrounding terrain. This spiral configuration enhances circulation and establishes visual connections across the site, fostering interaction within the urban environment. The architectural concept is further refined by ecological and structural systems, ensuring that the facade allows natural light while accommodating integrated technological elements.
