Zodchestvo 2024: Most Talented Architect award
Lex te Loo Architects won the «Most Talented Architect» award at the Zodchestvo 2024 festival, presenting our Astrakhan Hills masterplan.

Lex te Loo Architects took home the «Most Talented Architect» award at the Zodchestvo 2024 festival in Moscow, presenting our Astrakhan Hills masterplan. The festival is the central annual gathering of the Russian architecture community, and the award recognises young practices producing the most distinctive design and territorial work.
We presented the Astrakhan Hills masterplan — a 250,000 m² mixed-use territorial proposal for a hillside site overlooking the Volga delta. The project was shown alongside a manifesto on the studio's approach to working with terrain, sun, and climate from the very first concept move.

More on the Astrakhan Hills project will follow in a separate update — including the masterplan boards shown at the festival, the territorial diagrams that drove the proposal, and the residential typology developed for the site.
