Lex te Loo Architects
International architecture and urbanism bureau working at the scale of the city, the territory, and the ground. Metropolitan Intelligence, Geological Presence.
Lex te Loo Architects is building a public architectural practice defined by Metropolitan Intelligence and Geological Presence. We begin with the precise reading of urban, territorial, and cultural forces, and transform them into architecture that is clear in its logic, strong in its form, and deep in its atmosphere.
The bureau is brought in when the essential questions of a project are still open — when form, program, landscape, identity, and direction have not yet been fixed, and architecture can still shape the project fundamentally.
What we do
- Metropolitan Frameworks — masterplans and urban concepts for dense situations where movement, density, phasing, economics, public life, and identity collide.
- Territorial Concepts — work on sites where landscape is structure, not background. Architecture begins from terrain, atmosphere, sequence, access, and territorial presence.
- Architecture of Presence — buildings and ensembles that need more than efficiency or image. Strong form, spatial depth, cultural weight.
- Places of Stay — hospitality and resort concepts shaped by landscape, movement, sequence, and atmosphere.
- Experimental Methods — digital tools, physical prototypes, and research collaborations that push the practice forward.
